Fragment 0011 – Library Card from HK Public Library

It is when you are using what you have learned from books that you wish you had read more books than you have. When I was a child, I didn’t like reading books. I discovered the golden house in the book many years after graduation. This library card of the Hong Kong Public Library, which was applied for in primary school, was used only a few times. The municipal council that was in charge of public libraries was disbanded in 1999. I like the symbol and color of this Bauhinia flower petal very much, which may be the reason why I retained the card to this day.

書到用時方恨少。小時候不愛看書，畢業多年後才發現書中的黃金屋。這張小學/初中時申請的香港公共圖書館的圖書證，使用次數寥寥可數。當年管理公共圖書館的市政局已於1999年解散。我很喜歡這個洋紫荊花瓣標誌和顏色，可能因此保留至今。
